Size - Abdomen- 45-46 mm & Hindwing- 34-38 mm

At - Silent Valley National park - Western Ghats 🐾

Clear-winged Forest Glory  (Vestalis gracilis) 
Male : Large damselfly with iridescent green body
and hyaline wings.
Female : Similar to male but duller.
Habitat : Edges of rivulets and streams in dense forests.
Behaviour : Occurs in groups along shady forest paths,
sometimes in association with V.apicalis. 
Has a slow fluttering flight. During post-monsoons, ventures into well-wooded village groves and homesteads adjoining forests.
