Bitchfield, Lincolnshire - a photo on Flickriver

            The Parish Church of Saint Mary Magdalene

The village of Bitchfield sits on the B1176 between Grantham and Corby Glen in the south Kesteven countryside.
The church sits on higher ground at the edge of the village, it has a 13th century west tower capped by a younger spire and a 14th century porch sheltering a Norman doorway.  The three round arches in the nave are also 12th century Norman work and in the south wall are traces of even older herringbone masonry.
