la terra dei fuochi n. 3 - a photo on Flickriver

            Quanta ignoranza,
e quanta arroganza
dell'essere uomo su questa terra,
convinti che le nostre vicende,
i nostri interessi,
le nostre manie
siano più importanti
di quello che ci circonda.
E saremo noi quelli in cerca di un paradiso
per niente consci di essere già all'inferno,
tra le alte fiamme
di una calda estate,
tra spine e rovi
di un'umanità che non rispetta ciò che la circonda,
né i propri simili,
e per ultimo,
nemmeno se stessa.
Meritiamo l'estinzione.

Dedicata a tutti i piromani che nel corso dell'estate 2017 hanno messo a fuoco e fiamme vaste aree del territorio italiano, tra cui molti ettari della mia terra, Bellegra.
