The Final Stage - a photo on Flickriver

The Final Stage

            I guess this must be the final stage of life for this place. I'm aware it'll be converted into (i'm assuming expensive) flats, but the state it's in now is likely the end-point of its life as a pump house.

It's always such a shame that people cause so much destruction to these places; so much history destroyed. Instead, now it's mostly just an empty husk, burned and ripped apart.

Creepy, too! Never forget I am a total scaredy cat. This room was light painted by my torch, and was nigh-on pitch black. Eek! I often find myself thinking, "Do I trust Michael enough to still be there, in the dark? Or, will I hear his scurrying foot-steps and a tee-he-he as he runs off?!"
So far, he's stuck with me.
