May Bee Seeds Grain Elevator - a photo on Flickriver

During a work related trip to Chicago, Illinois, I stumbled across this great old grain elevator with some 'ghost' writing on the side that reads "May Bee Seeds". I have tried to search for it's exact location and just cannot find it. However, in my search, I did find this article written about the relics of once great grain elevators scattered around Chicago during an era known as the world's "stacker of wheat"...

According to this article which includes a photo of this same grain elevator, it is located in either the Bridgeport or Back of the Yards suburb of Chicago. Wherever it is located, it is a great piece of American and Chicago history. The kind of history that I love to photograph...

Three bracketed photos were taken with a handheld Nikon D5200 and combined with Photomatix to create this HDR image. Additional adjustments were made in Photoshop CS6.
