November Sunrise, Merced River (Explored)

Since I've been much more inspired to photograph small scenes and zoomed in details this past year, it's been a while since I posted a proper landscape shot, and even longer since I've spent quality time in Yosemite Valley enjoying this clear, cold morning spend exploring the intermingling of autumn and winter colors along the Merced River. The rising sun created mist on the water’s surface that ebbed and flowed and was thoroughly relaxing to observe. Although I was late to the Valley for the wintry conditions caused by an early November snowstorm, the magic of the seasons was still evident all throughout the park.
