Slovenia / Slowenien: Solčava - a photo on Flickriver

            Church of St. Mary of the Snows in Solčava near the northern border of Slovenia.  It was built between 1461 and 1485, while the sacristy and southern nave wall were most probably built centuries before. 

Die gotische Kirche Maria Schnee in Solčava, an der Nordgrenze Sloweniens am Ausgang des Logartales. Sie wurde 1461 bis 1485 erbaut, die Sakristei und die Südwand des Schiffs stammen vermutlich noch aus romanischer Zeit. Über den Paulitschsattel (slow.: Pavličevo sedlo) gelangt man von hier in wenigen Kilometern nach Kärnten.
