Patience - a photo on Flickriver

Patience

            Sitting with a friend on one of Sydney's Northern Beaches a couple of months ago, waiting for a just a little hint of the sun over the horizon and the onset of the dawn, so we could take a few sunrise photographs.

It was a warm morning already as the sun began to rise. Maybe still a fraction too dark, but some gorgeous colours from behind the cloud cover, nonetheless.

Not a wasted exposure at all, I think...
