chouette lapone / Great gray owl - a photo on Flickriver

            Beauport. Belle journée ensoleillée et pas vraiment froide. Cet oiseau est tellement photogénique qu'il est difficile de l'ignorer. La réflexion du soleil sur la neige améliore la luminosité.  En hiver, il fait la compétition aux chouettes rayées qui résident ici à l'année. Nous attendions la chouette rayée mais c'est la lapone qui a surgi du fonds du boisé de son vol feutré et lourd. Coup de chance.
