Silent Voyeur

            Oh, what a marvelous example of contemporary architecture! ... *cough*

This is one of my least favourite buildings, in a town full of just awful concrete 60's monstrosities. Still, as I climbed to the top of the building site, I was rewarded with this view. I think the height at which I took the shot makes the scene a lot more visually interesting- perhaps it's the inclusion of the ground, and the town behind.

Night always gives a different quality to places, too. It was a surprisingly quiet night (aside from a drunk couple shouting at each other for the entire length of the road), and the town had a sleepy feeling to it; even this nasty old tower block. 

Perhaps I'm a bit of a voyeur, but I liked the small glimpse into peoples' lives that windows give. I'm very surprised no one saw the two figures at the top of the building site!
