Putting the world to rights - - to have a conversation in which you talk about many different things, for example how to solve society's problems :

British lawmakers headed back to Parliament on Monday after their summer break. But thousands of U.K. children won’t be returning to their classrooms this week, because their schools are at risk of collapse from crumbling concrete. (Hospitals, theatres, office buildings all seem to have been built with this material, "reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete").

To be honest this all seems too familiar - when you get to my age it seems you have "heard it all before" remember "concrete cancer" where reinforced concrete was failing due to the reinforcing bars rusting inside the concrete from back in the 1960's and 70's. All symptomatic of building with cheap new materials and then ignoring the experts that tell you it will only have a 25 year life.
