An Uncertain Life

            Chicago Teachers have gone without pay now for 8 days to strike for our students and classes are now cancelled for tomorrow.  We only have a class size guarantee for 1/3 of our students.  Is this just?  No....we know all students benefit from smaller class size just like we know that students are looking to us to stand up for their rights. 

Education is a human right, not just for rich kids and not just for right kids...for all children with all abilities regardless of what neighborhood they live in.  We need to protect all children.  That is our mission as teachers.
