Chinese opera backstage, Bangkok - a photo on Flickriver

            Another one from backstage, this one here from 2014, also the same temple in Talat Noi, a historic community in Chinatown, and also during the Vegetarian Festival.  

Most actors have changed since then and the stage organisation was different with other materials, ropes hanging about etc. This shot here is a bit later in the process compared to previously published shots. Makeup completed and both actors in full costume enjoying a laugh in an excited atmosphere, awaiting the cue to step onstage for their part in the performance. 

That day was a fantastic atmosphere I still remember it even today, and looking into my archive I have quite a few good pics remaining to process :)
