We went to shoot a big swell at Minnamurra on Saturday morning. It didn't really go to plan for me out on the rockface, but I grabbed a few anyhow.

As I was walking back along the beach to the car, I looked over my shoulder, to see these beautiful "God Rays" coming through the clouds. I had passed a fisherman on the way, and as I looked back, I could see him standing in the water fishing away happily.
Dropped my backpack, pulled out the camera and threw on my 70-200 lens, and grabbed this image hand held.
The bird flew into the sunbeams just as I was taking the image, which was a win and a bonus to the image itself.
