Canuck Classic - a photo on Flickriver

Canuck Classic

            C-GBZE, a de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver Mk. 1, heading north on taxiway "Echo" at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario. It was a very rare sight at Canada's busiest airport. 

The attractive amphibian is operated by Cottage Air Inc. of Bracebridge, Ontario. During the summer months, it carries families back and forth between their homes in Toronto and their cottages on lakes well north of the city. 

Serial number 1621 first flew on January 26, 1967 and began its career soon after as XV270 with the Army Air Corps in England.
