Danny Boy's Hamburgers - San Antonio,Texas.

            Back in the late 1930s or early 1940s this place opened as a hambuger/beer joint and prospered until 1973 when the property was sold. The Cantu family bought the place and opened a very successful Tex-Mex restaurant that flourished for the next 39 years. In 2011 Dan Uranga (a 20 year veteran of the San Antonio Police Department) bought the property and opened his own business. Danny runs the place pretty much by himself...he cooks the delicious 1/2 burgers,does all the ordering and anything else that needs attention. That's Dan in the red t-shirt. The two button signs were originally Coca Cola  signs that date back to the original owners of the place. 1537 W. Summit Ave. just off of Fredericksburg Rd. San Antonio,Texas. 7.16.2016.
