Merseyside Police Ford Transit - a photo on Flickriver

            1992-1994 Ford Transit

I did my Work Experience with Merseyside Police in September 1994 and was given this photograph / postcard along with my leaving card. Photographer unknown. If it's you, let me know and I will gladly give credit where due.

Picture is taken at the Royal Albert Dock. This looks like the first face-lifted version of this shape of Transit, which I think came out in 1991 or 1992. Therefore taken any time between 1991 and 1994.

These vans were around for a long time. I remember seeing an L-registration one of these in Bold Street, Liverpool City Centre, as recently as 2002, maybe even 2003 parked next to a battenburg-liveried Focus.
