hallin fell light show - a photo on Flickriver

            when the luck is on your side.

i headed out this morning to have a scout of hallin fell, near ullswater. knowing it was not the best conditions to take any images with the wind and spells of snow a nightmare, especially the horrendous gusts of 50mph or so.  the first few frames i took of these fells were shrouded with cloud and snow was falling, which i was happy with. so i packed up and had a little scout about for some more compositions for next time i return.

anyway on my way back down hallin fell i noticed the cloud and snow was easing and some light started to creep through. so i got back up to my original spot and waited for the light to catch the intermittent snow and rainfall.
