            Links das langgesteckte Gebäude das Chilehaus, ein von 1922 bis 1924 erbautes Kontorhaus im Hamburger Kontorhausviertel. Die Architektur von Fritz Höger war beispielgebend für den Backsteinexpressionismus der 1920er Jahre, der von Backsteingotik und Expressionismus inspiriert war. Am 5. Juli 2015 wurde das Kontorhausviertel zusammen mit der Hamburger Speicherstadt und dem Chilehaus zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe ernannt.
Das spitze Gebäude rechts neben der Willy-Brandt-Straße das Deichtor-Office Centrum. Der ehemalige Zollkanal, der die Hamburger Innenstadt von der Speicherstadt trennte und als Zollgrenze diente. Ganz rechts die letzten Gebäude der Speicherstadt, dahinter die neue Spiegel Zentrale.

On the left is the elongated Chilehaus building, an office building built between 1922 and 1924 in Hamburg's Kontorhaus district. Fritz Höger's architecture exemplified 1920s Brick Expressionism, which was inspired by Brick Gothic and Expressionism. On July 5, 2015, the Kontorhausviertel was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site together with the Hamburger Speicherstadt and the Chilehaus.
The pointed building to the right of Willy-Brandt-Strasse is the Deichtor Office Centrum. The former customs canal that separated Hamburg city center from the warehouse district and served as a customs border. On the far right are the last buildings in the Speicherstadt, behind them the new Spiegel headquarters.
