The Church of San Biagio and San Leonardo dei Cavalieri di Malta located in Syracuse is an architectural jewel that is definitely worth a visit. This church dedicated to saints Biagio and Leonardo is fascinating for its ancient history and the beauty of its architectural details.

The church was founded in the 12th century but underwent several renovations over the centuries. The Sicilian Baroque style facade features an imposing portal with white stone frames and a central rose window which adds a touch of elegance to the building.

The interior of the church is rich in works of art and artistic decorations. The frescoes on the ceiling and walls are wonderful examples of Baroque art. The paintings depict scenes from the life of San Biagio and Sant'Agata, two saints greatly venerated in Syracuse.
