The Tree Spirit - a photo on Flickriver

The Tree Spirit

            This shot was taking during a howling storm as the rain pelted down onto Morris Bridge Park.  The image is an in-camera double-exposure, using a six-stop ND filter to extend the exposure to 30 seconds.  The long exposure created some ghostly motion blur as the tree branches and brush blew wildly in the wind... thus the title of the image.

My camera took a beating from all the rain, but survived quite well considering the conditions.
