Blue Hour On A Winter Evening - a photo on Flickriver

            Crossing the Walker Bridge over the Union Canal in the Polwarth area of Edinburgh, very tail end of Blue Hour on a winter day. Eastern sky behind me already  dark, the western sky still with the pale, blue light, and just a smidgen of red right at the horizon, last hurrah from the declining sun, and the dark waters of the canal between the tenements, reflecting it back like a black mirror. 

Taken using the low light setting on the phone camera, bracing it against the bridge to steady it - amazed it worked.
