Halloween in the Boneyard 03 - a photo on Flickriver

            Walking home this evening, dark very early here now, since it was Halloween I took a wee stroll through the old boneyard near me. The centre with older graves has been deliberately allowed to become overgrown to make an urban wildlife mini oasis. 

This means there are always noises of creatures moving among the branches and foliage, which is, as you can imagine, ten times creepier at night! You hear the crack of twigs and rustle of branches but see nothing...

I was trying out a new toy - a very basic, cheap LED light panel that goes on the flash gun hot shoe mount and can be dialed up from soft to bright light.First time trying it, far from ideal results, but was fun to try it out, especially in the bone orchard on Halloween...
