vexillology national a regional flags hanging in my apartment above my bed in my old flat in the 1990s - todays challenge: can you name all the regions and countries??? The quest resolution will be further down if you scroll

            Yes I always had a thing for flags… 
I think it all started when I bought a ladybird book on sale in England and all the trip home in the car and boat I just stared at the national flags, the american state flags, the colonial flags, the historical ones and so on…

These flags got collected by the years so I made a small display of then on the wall above my bed…

Do you know them all???
yes I know they are not correct according to vexillological standards ( no pun intended ) but you get the point…

Ok here the correct flags are presented starting from the left in row one and downwards:

1. Faroe islands ( Local self governing Danish region )
2. Quite simple U.K Union flag/jack
3. This one is hard if your not a Swede, it is the local flag of Skåne/scania but it could also be either the Swedish speaking Finns or sadly the WWII Noway Quisling flag
4. Denmark 
5. Germany BRD (west)
6. Oh is it the star spangled banner stars and striped??? Yes to simple the USA!
7.. Greece
8. A former state The soviet union
9. And that ugly ripp-off of the Danish flag is Sweden
10. A tricky one, Greenland an other self governing part of the Kingdom of Denmark, yes it is the Island the Orange former president wanted to buy… Greenland
