Woman begging in the City of Bath, England

            Candid shot of a woman outside Sainsbury's in central Bath. This shop sits on a corner: on either side, sheltered beneath its Georgian pillars, is a "homeless"* person begging, sometimes quite aggressively. Other times, they just lie there in their sleeping bags, hoping for donations. I've seen people take shifts there.
 
(I put homeless in quote marks as without singling any particular person out, this lady may or may not be genuinely homeless: there are many fake homeless, and Bath is no exception, attracted by the city's rich pickings courtesy of all the year-round foreign tourists. 

On the other hand, genuine homelessness and rooflessness is a huge issue in England, thanks to years of government underfunding in housing and mental health services, so this person could well be genuinely homeless. I don't know and am mentioning this for context to the shot not to accuse, least of all this lady).
