Green Heron, Shoreline Lake... - a photo on Flickriver

            Thank you to a stranger for an act of kindness. I would have totally missed this little guy had not a friendly birdwatcher told me where to find him sitting deep within a culvert, hidden by reeds. The shot was taken only after waiting for a good breeze to push the tall grasses aside.
