Deep in the Jungle 🌳🏢 Vancouver, BC

The evening sun shines on the northwest side of Stanley Park. This area is along the Siwash
Rock Trail and is home to some of the oldest trees in the park. These trees escaped the logging era during the 1860s and 1880s because of their massive size or location within the forest. Much of the canopy in this area was severely damaged during the windstorm of 2006.(thst was heart breaking) Below, a paddle wheel boat on English Bay cruises along the shores of the park. Beyond, a growing mass of glass, steel and concrete shapes Vancouver's ever-changing skyline. Captured from West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada ~ May 16, 2018 🏢
