Abellio VT 121209 - Solingen Hbf - a photo on Flickriver

Lijn S7 "Der Müngstener", van Wuppertal naar Solingen via Remscheid, wordt geëxploiteerd door Abellio, een dochteronderneming van de NS. Hoogtepunt van deze spoorlijn is de Müngstener Brücke tussen Remscheid en Solingen, waarmee op 107 meter hoogte het dal van de Wupper wordt overgestoken. Dit is de hoogste spoorbrug van Duitsland.

Route S7 "Der Müngstener", from Wuppertal to Solingen via Remscheid, is being operated by Abellio. Highlight of this railway line is the Müngstener Brücke between Remscheid and Solingen. With this bridge the train crosses the valley of the river Wupper at an altitude of 107 metres. This is the highest railway bridge of Germany.
