Altaussee, Jagdhaus Seewiese / Hunting lodge Seewiese

            Diese Hütte an einem der wohl schönsten Plätze am Altausseer See, der Seewiese, diente der Familie Hohenlohe-Schillingfürst viele Jahre lang als Jagdhaus. Schon Erzherzog Johann von Österreich war hier im 19. Jahrhundert zu Gast. Zusätzliche Bekanntheit erlangte das Jagdhaus als Drehort einer Szene der James Bond Episode "Spectre". Seit einigen Jahren wird das Jagdhaus als Jausenstation verpachtet und der Ruf seiner Strudel-Qualität ist bereits legendär.

This hut at one of the obviously most beautiful places at Lake Altaussee, the Seewiese (lake meadow), served for the family Hohenlohe-Schillingfuerst for many years as hunting lodge. Even Archduke John from Austria was guest here in the 19th century. Additional awareness obtained the hunting lodge as setting fort a scene of the James Bond episode "Spectre". Since a few years the hunting lodge became leased as a snack-inn and the reputation of their strudel quality is already legendary.
