Lilleman, a very special cat - a photo on Flickriver

            Gosh, this little fellow was such an oddball! He was so funny and he did things cats usually dont do. He loved to play soccer.and he loved to play with kids. 
When I was travelling in my car (especially long distances) he just CRAVED to be in my lap with his cheak on the stearingwheel. In curves and thru cities his little head followed all movements of the stearingwheel and his head was going back and forth in all curves but he had no problems with that! He was just happy to be where he was. In my lap... and sleeping.....for hours!! 

His best friend was Zappo the dog, a black fourbreed dog...or a "fourwaycrossroading"  as we called it. A mix of lab, hungarian visla, boarder collie and  beagle. A from the beginning mistreated dog but now a charming chap with a powerful voice...and these two guys became the best buddies.
On our walks in the big woods, Lilleman with his short legs often was a way back of us but always let us know where he was with his "mjaauuuuss"
One time he was gone for days and was finally found in a treetop....wounded. Probably he had been chased by a lynx. He was a hunter himself but he knew so well I would correct him if he sneaked away to the swallows nests in the sandbanks closeby. 
Oh yes, Lilleman (Little man) was something else and I still miss him much. He was kind and friendly and understanding. Like a human being. He was starring and watching me so carefully when I talked to him and I just know he understood what I told him.
Where Lilleman and Zappo are today? Well if they live they should be 16 by now but I dont know when we were seperated years back in time.
