Summer Evening Storm - a photo on Flickriver

            I wasn't expecting much out of this shot (and others I had taken that evening). The night was very dark due to the extent of the cloud cover, and this storm was primarily sheet lightning (behind clouds) some distance away. That drove me to punch the ISO way up.

Nevertheless, I caught one bolt but I was pleased to see the number of stars captured as well. I had not expected to see the stars when photographing lightning!
