Gnarled Detail

            The clouds are back! Finally a chance to photograph some more moody scenes. To celebrate, I went down to a part of the Moray coastline that I don't often go to as it is one of the trickier locations to get to. Fortunately, the tide was also in at the time. This has never been the case when I have been at this location in the past. This meant that I had a number of new compositions at my fingertips. The rocks here have huge amounts of detail in them and I am always really keen to replicate that detail in my images. So, this one is quite contrasty but really does bring out said detail as a result. Taken on the Tronach Head in between Portknockie and Findochty in Morayshire, Scotland.
