Once more into the storm - a photo on Flickriver

            Tasmanian chainsaw sculptor Eddie Freeman is a real storyteller. In this historic tableaux he creates a scene in which the local men go out to sea in their lifeboats to rescue souls on foundering ships. During the 19th century this was a common occurrence, as the waters at the mouth of the Tamar are full of rocky reefs.
