I just want to take a moment to talk about one of my favorite films of all time, Thirst, by mastermind legend Park Chan-wook. This vampire reminded me of this brilliant film last Halloween and I wanted to encourage everyone to watch it, especially before we say goodbye to another Spookytober. Just a heads up that Thirst starts out a little slow like when you're on a roller coaster slowly inching towards the top of the hill and then BAM from the middle part to the end is like a 100+mile per hour thrill ride. Thirst also has THE BEST ENDING OF ALL TIME IN ALL CINEMATIC HISTORY. Yes, I am yelling this emphatically! Most people talk up the Vengeance Trilogy and Oldboy, which are also well worth watching but I'll always have a special fondness for Thirst myself.
