View of Roman Forum - a photo on Flickriver

            There is a magnificent view of the Roman Forum from a balcony in the Tabularium (now part of the Musei Capitolini) on Capitoline Hill.

In the foreground here are the Arch of Septimius Severus (on the left) and the surviving columns of two temples (on the right), the Temple of Vespasian & Titus and Temple of Saturn.

For those viewing this on a Laptop/PC, a number of the landmarks have been identified on the image itself.  They include (from left to right): Church of Santi Luca e Martina, Curia Julia, Arch of Septimius Severus, Temple of Caesar, Arch of Titus, Column of Phocas, Santa Maria Antiqua, Palatine Hill, Basilica Giulia, Temple of Vespasian and Titus, and Temple of Saturn.
