            Tutti i luoghi hanno una storia e anche questa via ne ha una. Racconta la mia sconfitta anzi, la nostra sconfitta.
Guarda, passano turisti e giovani studenti che schiamazzano e non sanno niente, mentre dovrebbero stare in silenzio e chinare il capo per rispetto. A pensarci bene non dovrebbero neanche passare di qui. Facessero un’altra strada e lasciassero quest’angolo di Roma a museo della mia sofferenza.
Io come sai, ci passo tutti i giorni due volte al giorno, ogni volta è sempre una coltellata al cuore. È davvero crudele che mi venga ricordato cosa successe senza che l’oblio faccia il suo corso.
Tu invece di qui non passi mai. Non stai neanche più a Roma. Sei tornata da dove eri venuta, così mi hanno detto. So che lo hai fatto per provare a dimenticare, ma se ti conosco almeno un po’ so anche che è del tutto inutile.
Fisso questi sanpietrini che ormai conosco quasi a memoria, poi svolto a destra cercando di lasciare alle spalle il carico che mi porto dietro. E che non mi lascia mai.
