Fading - a photo on Flickriver

Fading

            This image was taken during the Perseids meteor shower
back in August.

Prior to this image being taken I had managed to capture what appeared to be a large meteor descending (See image Perseus). However the clouds and mist were beginning to close in even when then.

Even though it was looking obvious that the better part of the night had past, I continued to make the most of it.

Towards the end I decided to point the camera towards the incoming flow of lights.

Although fading, the stars, meteor shower and Jupiter (correct me if I'm wrong) were still visible in the night sky.
