Ancient Wonders - a photo on Flickriver

Ancient Wonders

            This image was taken during a night explore of one of Wiltshire's famous landmarks, Stonehenge.

This was the first visit to Stonehenge in many years but not strictly the first night visit as I had attempted to capture some nightscapes before.

As you can see from the image that light pollution was a problem. I suppose it does help to backlight the monument. 

In case you were wondering what was going on to the bottom right of the image, to be honest not sure, I would guess archaeological.
