The Eve of Paranoia.(Explored). - a photo on Flickriver

            An impromptu shot of Ashton Hall, the Clubhouse of Lancaster Golf Club. Whilst doing some work in preparedness for the Golf Club opening next week, the sky started to show a bit of promise. I had my camera gear in the back of the Car, so I took this before heading home.

The Castle here dates back to the 14th Century with the Keep on the left here built in around 1381 and the later wing to the right dating much more recently around 1856.

It has been home to the Dukes of Hamilton and Royalty have stayed in its walls. It is said tor be haunted by two ghosts. This spooky looking shot may help the Club in attracting "paranormal" societies to stay in one of its 13 bedrooms!! So as golf resumes, this could be said to be “the Eve of Paranoia” before golf booking goes crazy😄
