Halo, Halo, Halo - a photo on Flickriver

Halo, Halo, Halo

            I think this is what scientists call a 22 degree halo, seen here around the moon at dawn in The Beagle Channel, Patagonia. This is close to the border between Argentina and Chile.
The shot was hand-held, at 2500 ISO and f4 (yet still only achieving 1/8 second exposure) because of being on a moving ship - a tripod would have been useless.
