From the last trip to Iceland ... a trip that also marked the debut in my hands of the Nikon D850.

On a 10-day trip, this was the only night I could observe Auroras and test the limits of the new machine, which against the D810 ... clearly gains and increases is ISO range by one Full Stop.

With the D810 @ ISO 3200, it would be impossible to pull through the shadows as I did without compromising quality by bringing it too much noise or forcing me to blend the BG with with exposures of the FG taken at lower ISO.

For now ... D850 Rules!
