La Nymphe au corps de feu ou Petite nymphe au corps de feu, est une espèce d'odonates de la famille des Coenagrionidae.

La Nymphe au corps de feu a un abdomen rouge avec juste les derniers segments dominés de noir. Les marques noires sont très variables chez la femelle qui est assez robuste. Le thorax est noir rayé de rouge, les pattes et les ptérostigmas sont noirs.

Commune dans une vaste région à l’ouest de l’Oural, l'espèce  fréquente les eaux stagnantes ou faiblement courantes, riches en végétaux. L'adulte vole d’avril à août. 

J'ai pu observé ce couple au bord d'une petite mare en lisière du Bois de Vincennes, en Ile-de-France.
