A vintage motorised display of Dinky Toys utilising Meccano components

A display like this was first shown in the September 1959 Meccano Magazine. It was based on an actual official Meccano dealer shop window display model. Just imagine looking at a display like this at Christmas!!!
I decided to make one myself and it was my winter project between 2014 and 2015.
It does work really well and looks stunning. I have now shown it many times and it creates huge interest every on evvery occasion.
The photograph was taken on my Nikon D800 and a Nikkor 60mm f2.8 Macro Lens.
Both Dinky Toys and Meccano came out of the Binns Road factory in Liverpool.
