Winter scene 27 - Snow wine at all - a photo on Flickriver

            Having grown up in Australia, my typical mental picture of a vineyard involves vines laden with heavy fruits and festooned with leaves under a punishing sun. To see the local vineyard in Winter with a covering of snow still gives me a small mental shock and all the more so this time around with thirty or so centimetres of snow on the ground.
This photo is for me a bit of a summary of how I experienced this morning. Snow covering everything, small splotches of colour, repeating patterns and the landscape disappearing into the fog in the distance.

Committed to expired Kodak Gold 200 using a Leica M3 and 50 mm Summilux ASPH lens. Developed using a C-41 kit from Ars-Imago and scanned using an Epson V850 using Silverfast. Positive conversion, colour and levels done with Negative Lab Pro.
