Entra llum a la foscor romànica / Daylight into the romanesque shadows

Normalment hom troba l'església romànica de St. Llorenç del Munt fosca i reclosa en sí mateixa, talment com si d'una cova es tractés. Però de tant en tant obren la porta de la façana de ponent i la llum del dia entra fins a l'absis.

This romanesque church, called St. Llorenç del Munt, located in a mountain peak at 1100 meters above sea level in central Catalonia, it's dark as a cave. Built in a severe lombard romanesque style, it has almost no windows. But in this visit I found the main doors opened to the cold and clean mountain air, and daylight entered up to the apses.
