Solidage verge d'or (Solidago virgaurea subsp. virgaurea)

            Astéracée de 15-90 cm aux capitules longs de 8-15 mm, dressés en panicule étroite. Bractées de l'involucre linéaires. Fleurs jaunes, les centrales tubuleuses et hermaphrodites, les externes femelles ou stériles aux ligules étalées sur un seul rang, bien plus longues que les fleurs centrales. 

Autres noms français : Baguette d'Aaron, Herbe des juifs, Solidage des bois (du latin solido : consolider, soignant les blessures), Verge dorée. Espèce caractéristique des chênaies oligotrophes à chêne sessile (Quercion robori-petraea), mais plutôt acidophiles en Ile-de-France (cf.  P Fournier et Guide des groupements végétaux de la région parisienne).
