A place for Hobbits - a photo on Flickriver

The farm, Núpsstaður , gets its name from the mountain east of the farm, Mt. Lómagnúpur which is one of the most majestic mountains here in Iceland in my opinion - a massive cliff. Núpsstadur is situated in Fljótshverfi, west of Skeidarársandur. and now the farm belongs to the National Museum of Iceland, but it isn't open for tourism.
