Navigation School & Time Ball I - a photo on Flickriver

The building is situated in the harbour of Gothenburg - the time ball on top of the tower fell at certain times so that sailors could set their chronometers.
First part built in 1862 (architect: Adolf Edelsvärd). Rebuilt in 1915-16 (architect: Charles Lindholm).
In 1980 the Navigation School became a part of Chalmers University of Technology and in 1994 the school moved to Chalmers Campus Lindholmen. From then on the building is an office building.
