Michelle Josef; drummer with a flare.

            Michelle Josef is only drumming with top bands since about 2000 and is around 70 years old (1953). That is unusual to break into a music business that late in your life. Another unusual fact is that this woman was drummer of the year for Country Music Association in 1997 Bohdan Hluszko, prior her transgender surgery.  I have never seen Bohdan, only knew Michelle seeing her with several blues bands. I am pretty sure that there was some resentment with the country music fans some 20 years ago, but it's water under bridge now. 
I was attending a fundraiser for 'Red Door Family shelter' and the drummer was one of the musicians who played last 2 years at this event. He was part of the 'Social House Band': Margaret Stowe- guitar, voice, Roberta Hunt on keys, voice, Rebecca Hennessy - trumpet, voice, Russ Bosswell on bass, Jamie Stager - trombone and Michelle Josef - drums.
