This fiery sunset is in tribute to my beautiful, beloved mum, who passed away peacefully three weeks ago, on August 5th, at the age of 91.  Even though she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease over a decade ago, she managed to hang on to her enthusiasm for life and remained kind and caring, funny and wise and incredibly loving right to the end.  My sister and I held her hands as she took one last breath, a final gift, which will help us get through this difficult time.  I am so very fortunate to be her daughter and am missing her very much.
